For decades, steroids have been the default treatment for UME, prescribed almost instinctively despite their well-known side effects. Ivamky enters as the first non-steroid alternative, challenging a long-established norm. This is not just about introducing a new treatment, but about shifting a mindset and opening up a different way of thinking in a category shaped by habit.

THE CHALLENGE

Visually, the category is stuck. Medical brands often feel complex, clinical and disconnected, built around data rather than people. The result is a sea of sameness that is easy to tune out. For Ivamky, the challenge was to move away from that language and create something that feels clearer, more human and more relatable, while still holding onto credibility.

THE DELIVERY

A world that feels open and forward-looking. Ethereal landscape photography sits alongside 3D organic forms and simple vector shapes, creating a sense of particles breaking apart and drifting free. It becomes a quiet expression of release from ingrained habits and the foundation of the design system.

The custom typeface carries that same idea of openness. Spacing is deliberately generous, giving everything more air and a sense of ease. The letterforms shift between sharper and softer moments, holding a balance between precision and something more fluid. Together, these elements support the idea of a fresh choice, encouraging a small but meaningful shift in perspective. The tone remains grounded but optimistic, positioning Ivamky as a genuine step forward without overstatement.

This case study is still taking shape, more details and deliverables are coming soon...
